Frequently Asked Questions

If your question is not covered here, reach out and we will help you choose the right path.

Which materials do I need to start?
Begin with 3–5 mm cotton cord, a wooden dowel, sharp scissors, and a measuring tape. Courses list any specialty cords (e.g., single-ply vs. braided) inside the syllabus.
How are skill levels defined?
• Beginner: foundational knots and small projects. • Intermediate: pattern repeats and tension control. • Advanced: complex compositions, drape, and finishing finesse.
How much time should I allocate per week?
Most students succeed with 2–3 focused hours. Advanced builds may require 4–6 hours including drying time for steamed finishes.
Do you offer critiques or 1:1 coaching?
Yes. Many courses include feedback slots. Private 30-minute sessions are available; request them on the contact page.
Will I receive a certificate?
You receive a digital Certificate of Completion for eligible tracks. It reflects project scope and hours but does not represent formal accreditation.
What is your refund policy?
If a course does not fit your needs, contact us within 7 days of purchase and before watching over 25% of lessons. We will review and assist with a fair resolution.
How long do I have access to lessons?
Lifetime access to purchased lessons, including future updates to the same curriculum edition.
Which tools improve finishing quality?
A fine-tooth comb, steamer, lint roller, and fabric glue (for select ends) help deliver crisp edges and steady fringe.
